Our keynote speaker, Michelle Millet, Immersion Faculty & Director at John Carroll University Library, will engage us with her workshop titled “Doing It Backwards and Closing the Loop: Information Literacy, Backwards Design, and Assessment.”

The Discovery Layer Panel will answer your questions about the impact of discovery layers (EBSCO EDS and Serial Solutions’ Summons) on library instruction and reference.

Lightning round mini-sessions will highlight teaching techniques and tools to use in the instruction classroom: active learning ideas for one-shots that address multiple literacies, problem-based learning methods, and using iPads for library orientation.
