What: Back to Basics: Moving Library Instruction Forward (IIG Spring Workshop 2014)
Where: Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio
When: Friday, May 30, 2014 from 9:30am-3:30pm
Cost: TBD, includes breakfast and lunch (free parking)
Headlining our event is Immersion Faculty Michelle Millet (Director, John Carroll University Library), kicking off our program with a presentation entitled, Doing it Backwards and Closing the Loop: Information Literacy, Backwards Design, and Assessment. Also at this year’s workshop: an instruction librarian panel on discovery layers and a series of lightning round mini sessions, highlighting tools to use in your instruction classroom.
