It’s Annual Conference Time!

October 25th, 2013 is the 39th annual conference of the Academic Library Association of Ohio.  The event will be held in North Canton, Ohio at the University Center on the Kent State University Stark Campus.  The Instruction Interest Group will have an informational table set up on the second level’s balcony throughout the day of the conference.

The Instruction Interest Group (IIG) provides a forum for librarians and library staff with an interest in instruction and information literacy.  We share teaching expertise and resources, promote the instructional role of academic libraries and provide continuing education activities and events.  If you are new to ALAO or are looking for ways to get involved within the organization joining an interest group is a great way to get started!

Please stop by our table at the conference or contact Katie or Sara if you are interested in learning more about our group or if you would like to join.  See you at the conference!
